The Wine Treasury is an award winning, London-based wine importer representing forty or so quality driven and charismatic wine producers from around the world: small, specialist, perhaps even boutique. The wines we import are to be found in the best wine shops, restaurants, hotels and bars in England, Wales and Scotland.

We were founded in 1984 with a special focus on supplying wines to the UK’s high-end restaurant scene. That focus remains while we also now supply a variety of retailers throughout the country as well as supplying retail customers directly. We are proud to supply the majority of the UK’s Michelin starred restaurants, as well as many of its best wine shops.

Our portfolio certainly has a New World focus, though it also includes excellent examples from many of the so-called Old World’s classic regions. Our reputation as North American specialists with some of the best wineries from California, Oregon, and Washington State is the result of decades of dedication to the region. Our relationships with the wineries we work with are normally UK exclusive partnerships, and those we choose are ones which we consider to have something truly distinctive and unique to offer: wineries run by people we like, making the sort of characterful wines we like. We get excited by wines that have that special something, and these are the wines that we are continually seeking out to share with like-minded customers.
