London Jazz Festival comes to Omnibus. This week with Luftabbamic

What happens when you put together two Kenny Wheeler Prize winners and one of Europe’s best touring drummers? New jazz heights in the shape of Rob Luft, Misha Mullov-Abbado and Marc Michel.

Having all played together in various ensembles this brand new jazz supergroup formed for the purpose of playing compositions and arrangements written together as a trio, as well as their favourite standards and original compositions by each of them.

The band contains internationally-renowned Kenny Wheeler prize winner Rob Luft who recently guested with Loose Tubes, Kenny Wheeler Prize winner Misha Mullov-Abbado, who has just released an album of his compositions on Edition Records, and one of Europe’s busiest touring drummers Marc Michel. As is the tradition these days, the name of the band is made up of parts of the members’ surnames.

Any information you provide to us is kept in our active file for 6 months – After 6 months it is moved to a dormant state – After 12 months it is deleted from our systems We use Active records for some or all of the activities detailed in the section above – ‘What do we use your information for?’ If we have recorded no positive activity from you after 6 months your record will become dormant If there is no positive activity from you within 12 months we will delete your records Positive activity means that you open, read, interact with either the website or through any of the communication methods we use to contact you.
