Calling the next TV Star!

We are currently working on an exciting new TV series for a major broadcaster.

The programme title is I’ll Give It A Year , and we are looking for Britain’s brightest new business owners to get involved!

We want to hear from business owners who are launching their business this year, they can have a launch or crucial event coming up , or maybe they’ve just opened the doors. The first year is crucial for any start-up and we want to catch them right at the beginning to get them off to a fighting start!

The chosen entrepreneurs will get a visit and invaluable business advice from one of the leading business brains in the country. In this warm and hopeful series, we aim to show that with the right start, a company really can go from strength to strength. We hope that the series will inspire many more fledging entrepreneurs to take the plunge and start up on their own.
We’ll follow dozens of businesses and then return a year later to find out how everything has panned out. There could be various bits of filming throughout the year also, depending on each individual’s journey.

We will begin filming in September and this would be an incredible opportunity for a new start-up to showcase themselves on prime time television, not to mention the free advice from well-known business mogul.

We will keep information relating to member companies as long as the company remains within the area. If the company leaves the area we may keep some information that we hold as long as we consider necessary based on any laws applicable. Any information you provide to us is kept in our active file for 6 months – After 6 months it is moved to a dormant state – After 12 months it is deleted from our systems We use Active records for some or all of the activities detailed in the section above – ‘What do we use your information for?’ If we have recorded no positive activity from you after 6 months your record will become dormant If there is no positive activity from you within 12 months we will delete your records Positive activity means that you open, read, interact with either the website or through any of the communication methods we use to contact you. It is our responsibility to be able to demonstrate this positive activity and if we cannot then your details will become dormant and eventually be deleted.
