CLAPHAM COMPANY LAUNCHES SOCIAL AND BUSINESS EXPERIMENT

Bridge is a Clapham-based company and are prominent advocates in employee engagement who work closely with organisations to unite brand, employees, culture and customers as one living organism.

Creative Director, Dale Smith, has recently launched The Living Brand Project, a 30-day social and business experiment, connecting one person’s transformation to that of an organisation going through a change.

Dale has volunteered himself as a ‘human guinea pig’ to look at all areas of personal transformation, incorporating the Whole30 diet, a fitness plan and mindfulness coaching – all this whilst maintaining his role at Bridge and looking after ‘Buster’ the Beagle puppy.

The results of this personal transformation will be linked back to business, looking at key parallels with organisational change.

Several experts are assisting Dale with the project, in exactly the same way experts are required to ensure successful organisational change.

“I’m fascinated by the parallel between one individual’s change and an organisational change,” says Dale. “Companies are driven by humans, therefore behave like humans.

“Companies are organic,” he continues. “They grow and they shape, and they change daily. They have life and breath in them.

“This project is not just me going on a diet. It’s looking at how one organic state can reshape itself, refocus, feel happier, more directional. Every company has employees who change, shape and move with the direction of the business and the business needs to drive that behaviour.”

Dale is writing a daily blog and is also being followed by a filmmaker who is tracking the progress.
