Clapham networking event on sustainability

This is Clapham hosted a networking event around focused on recycling and waste reduction. Hosted at The Pig’s Head, an eco-conscious pub known for its commitment to sustainability, who recently won The Best Sustainable Pub at The Great British Pub Awards.

We heard from Jack Ross from the Pig’s Head on how he has made his business Clapham’s first carbon neutral pub and gave tips and tricks on how we can all incorporate this in the work place. Hannah from First Mile also gave advice on simpler recycling and the new government legislation on waste disposal. Rebecca also spoke form Lambeth Climate Change Partnership which is growing network of organisations, businesses and community groups across the borough undertaking climate action in Lambeth.

This was also an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed evening of networking in a welcoming environment while exploring actionable steps toward a more sustainable future with some great food and drink provided. If the company leaves the area we may keep some information that we hold as long as we consider necessary based on any laws applicable. Any information you provide to us is kept in our active file for 6 months – After 6 months it is moved to a dormant state – After 12 months it is deleted from our systems We use Active records for some or all of the activities detailed in the section above – ‘What do we use your information for?’ If we have recorded no positive activity from you after 6 months your record will become dormant If there is no positive activity from you within 12 months we will delete your records Positive activity means that you open, read, interact with either the website or through any of the communication methods we use to contact you.
