9:30 am - 11:30 am
Tuesday, June 28, 2016

What is Project Griffin?
We all have a role to play in keeping London safe. It is not just the police, security and intelligence services that tackle the threat from terrorism – communities can also help defeat it.

We need the support and confidence of all our communities.

Project Griffin seeks to advise and familiarise managers, security officers and employees of public and private sector organisations across the capital on security and counter-terrorism issues.

By attending the training session you will earn about the following issues:

  • Current Threat and Hostile Reconnaissance – Understanding the current Threat Levels around International, Domestic and Extreme Terrorism.
  • Stay Safe – Firearms and Weapon Attacks including the new ‘Run, Hide, Tell’ government advisory DVD
  • Suspect Packages and Protective Security – Understanding suspect packages including an explanation around Improvised Explosive Devices.
